Tia Aloway

Tia Aloway - Kindergarten English Teacher

Hi, I’m Ms. A, and I am super excited to be working with you and your child!

With a Bachelor’s degree in English and Theater Arts, I combine my curriculum with music and acting out stories to make learning exciting. I value individuality and strive to meet the needs of each student. I also recognize the importance of trust and strive to establish relationships with students that result in a safe and comfortable learning environment.

Along with teaching, I am passionate about art. When I am not in the classroom, I am usually performing at the theater. I also love reading, painting, and singing karaoke. This will be a year filled with fun, adventure, and lots of learning, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us!

Larissa Summa - Kindergarten English Paraprofessional

Hello all, my name is Larissa Summa. This year will be my second with ICSAtlanta in Kindergarten. My husband and I moved here from California, where I worked with adults with autism. Previously, I coached and managed gymnastics programs in Nashville and Los Angeles. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and am a huge Duke basketball fan. In my free time, I enjoy nature, cooking Chinese food, and playing with our dog, a corgi named Ewan. My favorite thing about ICS Atlanta is the diversity of cultures that are visible, celebrated, and shared on campus!
