Week of April 5th- 9th

SPRING BREAK!!! No School or live sessions! Have Fun and Stay safe :)

Week of March 29th

No place for Hate Week! We will have a whole of ELA planned by our counselor Mrs. Johnson! Each day will include a new lesson and activity to learn about ourselves, our families, and what it means to be an upstander! Students should bring an item with them to class for show and tell about their family.

New homework policy! Starting Monday, students will be given a pack of ELA/Math homework to be completed. This homework is completely optional and should be seen as a resource to improve your child's basic skills foundations! Homework will be given out each Monday and should be returned if completed, by the following Monday.

March 1-5th

Monday: K Math benchmark testing for in person students.

Tuesday: Dr. Seuss birthday- out of uniform dress up day. Students can dress up as a dr. Seuss character or wear pajamas. Please refer to the school policy for out of uniform expectations.

Friday: In Person School Blue Ticket Reward: Crazy Hair Day!

Hello ICSAtlanta Parents,

We would like to update you regarding our return to school for the second semester. Due to the significant increase of COVID-19 cases in the community and the public health predictions of an escalation in numbers due to the approaching holidays, ICSAtlanta will begin our second semester remotely (100% online) for all of our ICSAtlanta students. Students will remain online through Friday, January 15th and begin in-person learning (for those who chose this option for second semester) on Tuesday, January 19th. We hope that this delayed start to our in-person learning option will take us past the predicted spikes in COVID-19 cases from Christmas and New Year's celebrations.

We understand that this will create a hardship for many parents, but we feel strongly this is necessary to ensure the safety of our school community and to keep in-person learning as a viable option for a longer, sustained period of time.

Second Semester Return

January 4th-6th: no school for students; teacher workdays

January 7th-15th: online learning for ALL ICSAtlanta students

January 18th: MLK Day; no school for students and staff

January 19th: in-person learning option begins (online learning option continues for those registered for online-only learning)
