Hi, Welcome to kindergarten! I'm so excited to have you here--you're going to have an amazing year!
My name is Ying (Sarah) Liu. I'll be your kids' Mandarin teacher this year. Students like to call me 刘老师 (Liu lǎoshī). I’m originally from China and have over 25 years of experience working with children, both in China and the United States. I’m a Georgia certified, Chinese P-12 Educator and hold two master's degrees. This will be my fifth year teaching Mandarin at ICSAtlanta. I truly enjoy working with children and believe that every child is unique and full of potential. As an educator, I strive to nurture their curiosity and guide them to inquire, grow, and thrive in their own way.
Hi! My name is Wenyan, and I’ll be the paraprofessional for your class! I am from China, and I am excited to be part of your child’s learning journey here at ICSAtlanta. I look forward to a school year filled with growth, creativity, and joyful learning!
I’ve been teaching Chinese to students in Atlanta for 14 years. I believe in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn. I love singing and often incorporate songs into our daily activities to make learning fun and engaging. My goal is to help students grow in confidence, embrace new challenges, and develop a love for language and culture.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks, watching movies, and listening to music. I can’t wait for the adventures this year will bring!
