Hello everyone! My name is Norma Colón. Before joining ICSAtlanta, I worked in the Forsyth County school district. This will be my 4th year teaching at ICSAtlanta. I live in Cumming with my husband and our two daughters. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, working and tending to my plants, watching documentaries of crazy weather, cleaning and organizing, reading magazines, and of course visiting family in NJ/PR/El Salvador.
I am looking forward to another great year!
Hello! My name is Sonia Arevalo-Roman. I am Mexican and married to a Salvadoran. I have a 1st grader at ICSAtlanta in the French track. I started substituting at ICSAtlanta last year, and I have been loving it! I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in French and Francophone Studies from Kennesaw State University in 2017. I have worked in the education field (different areas) since 2015, with some years off due to motherhood. I have also volunteered in my church since I was a teenager in the Children’s Ministry, teaching to young children. I love cats, hiking, and traveling to different countries.” -Sonia AR
