Julie Oling-Valderrama - English Teacher
Hello! My name is Julie Oling-Valderrama and I will be teaching Kindergarten English for the German and Mandarin Track. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Education, I embarked on a career in education working as a college counselor at North Georgia College and high school counselor at the International School, Nido de Aguilas, in Santiago, Chile. I left the field to stay home with my children until they went to school. Since I love the little ones, I decided to get my teaching certification in Special Education and became a Special Education Preschool Teacher for eleven years. Once again, however, I decided it was time to start something new and different, so here I am.
Jessica Miralles - Kindergarten English Paraprofessional
Hello! My name is Jessica Miralles and I am so excited to assist Ms. Oling-Valderrama in working with your child this year! I received my Bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University and I have been in the teaching profession for eight years. I am happy to be starting my second year working with the ICSAtlanta family. I first spent time at a full immersion English school in Ecuador, then returned to the states to work in Special Education, and later worked as a Spanish teacher. I have a son in Second Grade at ICSAtlanta and we have two small dogs. In my free time, I like to go hiking, read, and practice yoga. I look forward to an incredible year with your little ones!
